my friend erin died on friday. i've been shock since i found out. i'm still trying to grasp it but i don't think it will happen for a while. most of the school wore black today for her. apparently some people were talking shit about her and it made me really upset. poor erin. i'm sorry. i hope she wasn't scared when it happened. and even though i don't really believe in heaven or hell or god, i hope she's somewhere better.

i guess it's a little late for happy new years.
but it's a new year, and to sum things up, i'm very happy where i am right now. i am very excited for everything that's coming up, and i'm just really content with everything. i guess things are going in a very good direction and i'm finding myself very pleased with that.
also, i feel very proud of myself because i actually finished my homework (for once!)

Well I'm not a good enough liar to say that I want to know where you've been today with your new friends, having so much fun with your new friends.
But I'll stop before this becomes a cliched song again.
I won't call because it hurts to hear your voice down wires and plastic phones, but I'll be sure to answer your calls 'cause I've always been too polite.
But don't be fooled by pleasantries and how you been's. Where you going? How you feeling? I wanted to know it all firsthand.
Secondhand was never so good, so said the magazines and older kids, but I wore the clothes and I'll wear them again.
And I'll always settle for secondhand, and if all else fails second best. It's better than nothing but it's not better than you.
